‘The fastest puncher in boxing’ – Ryan Garcia stuns fans with blazing hand speed as he returns to the gym days after Devin Haney victory

Ryan Garcia is back in the gym less than a week after recording a monumental win over Devin Haney.

“King Ry” was in fine form Saturday night as he dropped Haney three times en route to a majority decision victory in New York.

Few gave Garcia any chance against the former undisputed lightweight champion, as he seemed completely out of control in the build-up.

Concerns were raised about Garcia’s mental well-being after he bombarded his supporters with a litany of bizarre social media posts ahead of fight night, ranging from conspiracy theories to a video claiming he was dead.

However, Garcia insists his worrying behavior was just an act – and that he was training extremely hard behind the scenes.

The 25-year-old continues to put himself through the paces days after his latest outing and recently posted a video of himself shadowboxing in the gym, with the caption: “Still working out @youngla.

“Should I let them know I’m still working? Well.”

His incredibly fast hand speed was on full display as he performed a shoeshine drill as fans looked on in amazement.

Reacting to the clip, one fan wrote: “Faster than fast… Faster than fast.”

Another commented: “Fast and furious.”

Garcia, however, missed weight by 3.2 pounds

A third added: “Fastest puncher in boxing.”

Garcia’s title shot increased tenfold after beating a former top 10 boxer pound for pound in Haney, but there’s a big asterisk next to the victory.

Garcia topped the super lightweight limit by 3.2 pounds while his opponent made weight.

This meant Garcia had ruled himself out of contention for Haney’s WBC welterweight crown.

Thus, “The Dream” retained the green and gold bracelet despite his defeat.
