Referee Stéphanie Frappart had to be escorted off the field by police after the Greek Cup final between Panathinaikos and Aris.

Frappart issued three red cards during the match, sending off Panathinaikos’ Giannis Kotsiras and the pair of Aris Jean Jules and Vladimir Darida.

Even if there were no supporters in the stadium, Frappart was still confronted by Aris players and staff, as reported by Ouest-France.

Aris president Theodoros Karypidis was seen confronting Frappart after the match.

Panathinaikos won the match 1–0, with Georgios Vagiannidis scoring in the seventh minute of injury time at the end of the second half.
