Broncos fans react with complete disbelief as Denver unveils new and old uniforms

Denver Broncos fans reacted on social media to the team’s new set of jerseys for next season, as many of them expressed complete disbelief amid a trade to acquire Zach Wilson from the Jets from New York.

On Monday, the Broncos released their Mile High collection, consisting of 10 uniform combinations in team colors (Sunset Orange, Summit White and Midnight Navy), to give players and coaches a much-needed boost before the fall after the end of last season. with an overall record of 8-9.

The design includes subtle triangles, which “nod to the clearer air at higher altitudes.” The image on the sleeve cap is meant to show a mountain peak, drawing similarities to the lightning bolt on the sleeve cap of the LA Chargers uniforms.

A stripe was also added to the pants while the number changed on the back of the uniforms. The Broncos shared a clip on X celebrating the launch of their new unit, which gave off major automotive sales vibes. The only thing missing was a good old Bob Seger rock song.

“I can’t really begin to express how disappointed I am right now,” one Broncos fan reacted to the team’s new look on of 1977 who reached the Super Bowl. XII.

“These look like uniforms you make for a new franchise in Madden,” someone else joked.

Team officials said more than 10,000 fans provided feedback during market research for the new unit and owner/CEO Greg Penner led a team contingent to Nike headquarters in the Oregon a year ago.

In a statement released Monday, team president Damani Leech said:

“It has been a thoughtful and collaborative journey that has led us to listen to voices from across Broncos country to design the Mile High Collection, our new modern and inspiring uniforms for the Denver Broncos.
