Real Madrid star Rodrygo pulls out Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘siu’ celebration as Man City concede twice in a minute
Rodrygo pulled off Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Siuu’ celebration after completing Real Madrid’s comeback.
The Spanish giants got off to a poor start against Manchester City when Bernardo Silva wrong-footed Andriy Lunin with a free-kick inside two minutes.
Eduardo Camavinga leveled the match with an effort which took a sharp deflection off Ruben Dias, before Rodrygo struck just a minute later.
Played by Vinicius Jr, the Brazilian striker burst into the box from the left and was held back by Manuel Akanji who looked to cover the situation.
However, Rodrygo managed to fire a shot into the net after Stefan Ortega hastily came off his line before being caught as the 23-year-old made it 2-1.
It was his 16th goal of the season so far and his ninth in the Champions League this season.
Clearly enjoying his strike, Rodrygo happily walked away before pulling back Ronaldo’s trademark celebration.
As well as being a Real Madrid legend, CR7 is a famous rival of Man City having spent two spells with fierce rivals Manchester United.
Ronaldo scored 450 goals during his nine-year stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
But if Rodrygo continues to score goals like this, his name could be among the Los Blancos greats for years to come.
