Jack Grealish is about to fall off the bus TWICE at Man City’s Premier League title parade… as Pep Guardiola enjoys a cigar and Phil Foden drinks champagne

Jack Grealish was spared an unfortunate disaster as he was saved from falling off Manchester City’s open-top bus for their Sunday afternoon parade.

City players and staff were in the party spirit as they celebrated their fourth year in a row premier league title during a parade in the city.

Pep Guardiola’s side had to wait until the final day of the Premier League campaign to retain the title, having been chased by rivals Arsenal throughout the season.

Like last year, there were wild scenes up north as Guardiola and his team showed off the title in an open-top bus decorated in club colors.

Grealish was the star of the show last year, as he took part in a three-day shoot leading up to the title parade before taking an iconic photo atop the bus.

This year, however, Grealish almost met with disaster as he nearly fell dangerously off the top of the bus on two occasions.

In a clip that appeared on

Luckily, his compatriot Jeremy Doku was on hand to grab the England international and guide him to safety atop the bus.

However, shortly after, another video appeared on X which, once again, showed Grealish almost falling from the top.

In this clip, taken from the perspective of a fan on the street, Grealish stood alongside Rodri at the top of the bus, as they sang along with the fans.

But as the bus drove off, both players were thrown forward but luckily Spanish midfielder Rodri put an arm around Grealish to stop him from falling.

The likes of Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne were also seen enjoying the festivities that day – with the England star taking a moment to reflect on his “special season”.

Foden said: “It’s been a special season. Nobody has done it before, it’s an incredible season. It’s the hunger in me. We have great players, we want to win more next season.

Meanwhile, Norwegian talisman Haaland said: “It’s been lovely, this club is amazing, I’m so proud of everyone.

“There were a lot of good times. When we knew we were going to win the championship, it was the best. The support we receive at home and away is incredible.

Even Guardiola took the microphone that day and said: “We are (happy). It’s a great achievement, that’s why we are here again.

“Even I couldn’t hope to stay eight years. Everything is fine. It (winning) looks like a routine but it’s not a routine. We will be back. Next season we will win the FA Cup.

As well as their Premier League title, City also showed off their Club World Cup title and UEFA Super Cup title, won earlier in the campaign.

Many expected City to also win the FA Cup title, but on Saturday afternoon they were beaten 2-1 by rivals Man United in the final at Wembley.

However, the defeat just a day before the title parade clearly did not dampen morale as players and staff celebrated on the bus.

Guardiola was seen with his celebratory cigar – something he has tended to do since winning the first of his four consecutive league titles.

Thousands of City fans filled the streets of Manchester, despite the day’s rain, to cheer on the team and watch the parade in person.

Some supporters were even seen climbing scaffolding across the city center, as they sought to reach a vantage point to watch the parade unfold.

Pep Guardiola and the team left the Cathedral Gardens near the National Football Museum at 7.30pm before marching through Exchange Square and down Deansgate, with the parade due to finish outside the Hilton Hotel at around 9pm.
