Roy Keane looks awkwardly at Sky Sports host for Erling Haaland question and Daniel Sturridge was angry
Roy Keane made things awkward in the Sky Sports studio when asked about Erling Haaland on Sunday.
Keane and Haaland have exchanged words in recent weeks, with the former Manchester United midfielder calling him a “League Two player”.
The Manchester City striker was having a difficult time in front of goal but ended that in spectacular fashion on Saturday by scoring four times in their win over Wolves.
Keane later asked him about the comments and told Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay: “I don’t really care about the man, so it’s okay.”
Haaland looked furious as he was replaced by Pep Guardiola, apparently not happy having found the net just four times.
The Man City man was mentioned in Sky Sports coverage ahead of the Liverpool v Tottenham match, and Keane sparked a typical response.

He said: “We saw Haaland get sent off yesterday, behaving like a spoiled child, but because they win the game and he scores goals, it’s almost forgotten.
Host Dave Jones said: “Spoiled brat, it doesn’t matter if you score four goals?
Keane replied: “Not really…”
Keane took a long pause as he looked at Jones, causing fellow pundit Daniel Sturridge to burst out laughing.
The former Republic of Ireland international injured Alf-Inge Haaland, Erling’s father, in a horror challenge during a Manchester derby.
Clearly, there’s no love lost between the Keanes and the Haalands.
