Jurgen Klopp’s men must win to keep their hopes alive but Sean Dyche will have the same mentality for his team.

After a controversial win over Nottingham Forest, the Toffees moved five points clear of the relegation zone and one more win would surely ensure their safety.

Of these 16 matches, his team won in nine of them, with six draws and one defeat – this defeat taking place in February 2021.

Since then, Liverpool have dominated the derby and have not conceded a goal in their last four clashes.

If they win Klopp’s latest derby, the German will become the first Reds manager to win 10 league matches against their bitter rivals.

And he can become the club’s second manager to win their first and last derby against Everton, emulating legend Kenny Dalglish.

“If you saw our bench today (Sunday), it was real quality and real experience.

“I loved all the kids that played for us, they did an amazing job and we wouldn’t be where we are without them, but it’s cool, for once, to have all the big guns too .

“Now we have to stay serious, stay at it. Let’s see what we can do.
