Brighton still keen on Leicester star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after failed January transfer

Brighton retain interest in Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and are considering a new offer, according to talkSPORT.

The Seagulls attempted to sign the £30million-rated Dewsbury-Hall in January but failed to reach an agreement with the Foxes.

However, they could be ready to reignite their interest in the summer transfer window with a new offer ahead of next season.

Dewsbury-Hall joined Leicester’s academy at the age of eight and worked his way into the first team, making his debut in 2020.

The midfielder has 129 appearances in all competitions for the club and has proven vital in their league title success.

He scored 12 goals and assisted 14 others to help seal their instant return to the Premier League.

Dewsbury-Hall featured in the Championship team of the season and was also voted Leicester Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season.

His current contract doesn’t expire until 2027, so the Foxes should be able to collect a significant fee if he is sold.

talkSPORT also previously reported that Tottenham were another club tracking him.

If Dewsbury-Hall stays, he will play under Steve Cooper next season, replacing Enzo Maresca, who joined Chelsea.

A move to Brighton would see him work under new head coach Fabian Hurzeler after leaving St Pauli.

talkSPORT understands he wants to keep Deniz Undav and Pascal Gross at the club – Stuttgart are keen to acquire their £20m option to buy the former while Borussia Dortmund are considering the latter.

Adam Lallana remains tight-lipped amid rumors of emotional return to Southampton after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion

Ibrahim Osman is set to become the Seagull’s first arrival after it was agreed he would join this summer from FC Nordsjaelland in a £16million deal.

Brighton bid farewell to Adam Lallana earlier in the month as he joined Southampton on a one-year deal.
