Retired NFL legend Tom Brady posted a workout video to his Instagram Story on Thursday, another tease toward a return to the NFL at age 46.

Brady has previously retired from the NFL twice, in February 2022 and February 2023. His first retirement lasted 40 days, and his current absence from football lasts more than 14 months.

The difference with his two retirements was filing his retirement papers with the NFL and NFLPA nine days after his second retirement.

The video shows a shirtless Brady, still with a good physique, running at a decent pace, especially for what he was known for doing during his playing days. Then again, he wasn’t wearing helmet pads.

The current push for a return to the field for Brady began on April 11, when on an episode of “DeepCut,” Brady said he was “not opposed” to listening to an NFL team if they wanted that he signs with them.

Brady played 22 seasons in the NFL, 19 of which were with the New England Patriots.

Brady's video was posted to Instagram Thursday morning, where he is seen running shirtless outside.

One of his former teams, the New England Patriots, is looking for a new quarterback after trading Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Instead of moving forward for someone like Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels, Brady’s former teammate and current Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo might look to the past.

Brady also posted the phrase “No bull.” No excuses. Show up so you can be there all day, next to the video of him running.

Also included in the message are three clock emojis and the phrase “24 years later” in reference to what has happened since his NFL debut.

In 2022, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports to become the network’s primary color commentator, a role that was set to begin this fall.
