Arsenal will stage a three-hour bus parade around Islington if they are to win the Premier League title.

The Gunners lead the table by one point, but Manchester City have a game in hand and the title race should be decided until the end.

This requires the club to put plans in place for the possibility of a parade for its first league title since 2004, with road closures and other operational requirements requiring advanced planning.

Arsenal’s final match of the season will be against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on May 19.

If they finish the day top of the table, the parade on Monday May 20 would start at 5pm at the Emirates, taking the roads via Islington Town Hall before returning to the stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side are a point clear at the top of the Premier League table, although Manchester City, who are chasing an impressive fourth consecutive crown, have a game in hand.
