Arsenal are set to make major changes to all of their kits next season – as the Gunners look to celebrate their culture and tradition.

Arsenal are set to replace the club crest with the iconic cannon on all of their shirts for next season.
The Cannon has become synonymous with the north London team since its inception in 1886, stretching back to the club’s roots, while also explaining the Gunners nickname.
Arsenal kits have used the cannon instead of the badge before, including on their green third kit this season, as well as the 2022-23 black away kit.
However, according to The Athletic, next season will be the first time in recent years that only the cannon will feature on all Arsenal jerseys.
This means the club’s traditional crest, which features the cannon and bears the words ‘Arsenal’, will not be used.

This means the traditional Gunners crest will not be used for the 2024-25 campaign.
The cannon is in place on their green third jersey, used against Bayern Munich last week.
This decision is driven not only by the popularity of the canon, but also by a desire to reflect the rich history, culture and tradition of the club.
Arsenal’s move is not the first of its kind, with Liverpool previously using the Liver Bird, accompanied by the letters LFC instead of their usual badge.
Meanwhile, Man United developed an away kit in August 2023 that did not feature the club crest, instead focusing on a “red devil” design.
However, this will be the first time Arsenal’s home shirt has featured only one barrel since 1977-78.
The 1989-90 campaign saw a cannon used, but AFC was also emblazoned on the jersey.
It’s unclear what the future of the crest will be, but The Athletic report continues to claim that the crest isn’t going anywhere as it remains an integral part of the club’s identity.

Mikel Arteta’s side last wore the green jersey with the cannon against Bayern Munich last week, when they exited the Champions League via a 3-2 aggregate defeat.
The Gunners, however, sit top of the Premier League and return to action on Tuesday when they entertain Chelsea at the Emirates.
