You Won’t Believe How Julie Chrisley Made a Hot Casserole in Prison

Julie Chrisley is the queen of the casserole, even behind bars.

Actually, Savannah Chrisley recently revealed that her mother did some crafty cooking over the holidays and prepared a delicious meal for her fellow inmates using only the rarest resources.

“I decided to cook for Thanksgiving,” Savannah said, reading a letter Julie wrote last November, on the April 2 episode of her show. Unblocked podcast. “I struggled but decided to do it. There were about 10 of us cooking together. I made chicken and stuffing casseroles. There were chips and dip. Several ladies made dessert .It doesn’t sound like much, but cooking everything here is a chore.”

Julie, who is currently serving a seven-year prison sentence in Kentucky for bank fraud and tax evasion, then explained exactly how she prepared her Thanksgiving dish without a kitchen or utensils. (Her husband Todd Chrisley also currently serving 10 years in prison.)
