WWE signs Giula?

As I mentioned earlier, NXT Stand and Deliver took place earlier and featured some cool matches. It’s worth checking out if you can.

He seems that WWE signed Giula, a Japanese star, and that she will now be in NXT.

I have the show Coundown on the network and Pat McAfee just talked about how Cody Rhodes suffered a fire on his tour bus just a few days ago.

It wasn’t wrestling either, it was real life. It really happened.

Learn more below. Pretty scary stuff.

The final boss speaks

Speaking of The Rock…he worked hard to advance his match. Training, receiving a ring at home, promotions on social networks…

He shared one last bundle of hype on his social media before tonight. I can’t promise there’s no swearing, so be wary of that, but he’s more than ready.

By the way, we now have less than an hour until the show starts. 12:00 UK time.

The rock was on television last night, inducting his grandmother, Lia Maivia, into the Hall of Fame.

He made a bit of a push, pushing his match for tonight, but we’ll let him go because of what he’s done since his return.

It all started earlier this year, when he came back as a good guy – or a “face” in wrestling lingo – and seemed ready to take on Roman Reigns for his title.

The fans didn’t like it.

Now we are here. Alex detailed everything that’s happened since then for The Final Boss. Definitely worth reading.

SmackDown Recap

WrestleMania may not have started yet, but WrestleMania weekend is already well underway.

SmackDown took place last night, followed by Hall of Fame, then NXT’s Stand and Deliver which took place earlier today.

The go home episode of SmackDown delivered. The Rock and Roman Reigns were not in attendance, but Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were, with the former giving his final promo before facing Roman Reigns tomorrow for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens also attacked Logan Paul, Andrade entered Mysterio’s Civil War match (more on that later), and The Judgment Day made their presence felt.

Huge crowd expected in Philadelphia

I’ve been thinking about how to approach this live blog tonight. I’ve played a lot of football and I don’t support a big team – it’s Gillingham (laughs) – so I’ve never really struggled to be a ‘fan’.

With wrestling, I’m a fannnnnnn. And I’m not going to lie, I’m excited. I guess if you’re following our report tonight you’re a fan too, so let’s be fans together and really enjoy it.

Fans have already fled to Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, which will be sold out tonight.

Night card one

We have a big night ahead – American readers, you’re in luck! – so let’s detail the menu that awaits us this evening.

The order of matches is unclear, except for the main event…

  • Judgment Day vs. DIY vs. Awesome Truth vs. New Day vs. Australian Town vs. New Catch Republic

It’s WrestleMania weekend!

Hello everyone and welcome to Mail Sport’s live coverage for WrestleMania weekend!

These are the two biggest nights of wrestling of the year and potentially the biggest WrestleMania of all time. I think that makes it the biggest weekend in wrestling history, right?

My name is Lewis Browning and I’ll be here both nights to talk to you about all the action. We have so much ahead of us and I can’t wait.

Tie it up – and I don’t say that lightly.
