Marcus Thuram trolled AC Milan by draping his Inter Milan shirt over his rival’s corner flag, after scoring to help Simone Inzaghi’s side seal a 2-1 victory at San Siro, a victory which allowed them to be crowned Serie A champions.

Joyful scenes erupted at full time after Inter claimed their 27th win of the season in the Derby della Madonnina, with Inzaghi’s side claiming the league title – losing just once in Serie A this season.

The victory means they are now unassailable at the top of the table, 17 points clear of second-placed Milan with five matches remaining.

Francesco Acerbi opened the scoring with a header after 18 minutes, before Thuram found the back of the net in the second half.

It was also a superbly scored goal, with the Frenchman holding off a defender to collect a long pass, before cutting inside and hitting his shot into the bottom left corner.

Thuram scored to help Inter Milan seal a 2-1 win over their rivals and win the Serie A title.

He escaped celebrating wildly as he ran down the sideline, before his teammates pounced on him.

Fikayo Tomori would head in from close range to score a goal for Milan. But the match came to a dramatic end, with Theo Hernandez, Denzel Dumfries and Davide Calabria all sent off for an on-field brawl in added time.

That didn’t stop Inter players from celebrating, with Thuram seen in one video jumping up and down after draping his Inter shirt over Milan’s corner flag.

He later appeared in an interview with CBS Sports, where he thanked the channel’s pundit, Thierry Henry, while calling him his “best uncle.”

“Today I would like to thank my parents. I would like to thank Thierry Henry for all the advice he has given me and I hope this is just the beginning,” Thuram said.

The CBS reporter asked Thuram, “I heard you sometimes talk to Henry more than your father?”

Thuram replied: “Yes, he is like my best uncle. He is the uncle who is there for me to help me in good times and bad. He always tells me the truth. And today, I would like to take the time to thank him because if I am here, it is also thanks to him.
