Wrestling star makes shocking WWE debut by joining The Bloodline… but apparently goes AGAINST The Rock and Roman Reigns

A popular wrestling star made a shock WWE debut on SmackDown Friday night, joining the popular Bloodline faction.

The Bloodline, led by former WWE Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock, leaves fans curious about its direction after Reigns lost his belt to Cody Rhodes following a nearly four-year reign on night two of WrestleMania .

As Reigns and The Rock take time off WWE programming, some of the group’s less dominant stars will be tasked with carrying it forward, and that’s what happened on Friday.

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa were on SmackDown, and their segment ended with Uso being beaten by his real brother, Sikoa, and kicked out of the faction.

It wasn’t just Sikoa, however, as a new WWE signing took to the ring to devastate the former tag team champion, leaving fans both excited and curious about the role he will play in the future .

Uso and Sikoa made their way to the ring alongside WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, with Reigns absent as he begins his leave.

Heyman said The Bloodline made no excuses for Reigns’ loss to Rhodes, Sikoa and Uso stood on either side of him in the ring.

After giving an overview of the main event and the events leading up to the title changing hands, Siko interrupted and said there were consequences to losing before a hooded man attacked Uso .

Pulling down his hood, the man revealed himself to be Tama Tonga, a 41-year-old star who shined in New Japan Pro Wrestling for over a decade.

Following Sikoa’s orders – apparently later calling him the “tribe leader” – Reigns’ nickname – and pointing to their signature, it was clear that he had joined The Bloodline, which was apparently led by Sikoa, who stomped on Heyman’s phone when he tried to call Reigns.

The events are leaving fans curious, with Sikoa almost being a puppet of Reigns since his debut on the main roster 18 months ago. Now he’s the one taking the lead, moving the storyline in a new direction.

He took orders from Solo Sikoa, who was previously a puppet of Roman Reigns.

Fans will remain curious as to what direction the faction will take as it enters its post-WrestleMania era.

Tonga, meanwhile, will be a welcome signing for the company, having played in Japan for 14 years where he was a founding member of the historic Bullet Club faction.

Although he is not related to Sikoa or The Bloodline, he is the son of WWE legend Haku – friend of Sikoa’s father Rikishi – and is considered a member of the family, as the Lance Anoa’i, Reigns’ cousin, previously explained.

“Not by blood,” Anoa’i, who is not signed to WWE, said via WrestleTalk. “We consider him, every time I see Haku, he’s my uncle, a lot of respect. I think it’s more like the island culture.

“We’re all from the South Pacific, so islanders stick together, man. It’s just a breed.
