Wayne Rooney leaves playing teammates in hysterics with deadpan comment after ‘fat granny s***ger’ jibe as Man United and England legend plays professional clubs for EA Sports FC .

Football legend Wayne Rooney has once again left his new playing teammates in hysterics with the Man United and England legend clearing a jibe during a live broadcast.

Rooney was announced last weekend as the latest star signing for EA Sports FC Pro Club Girth N Turf, founded by YouTubers Angry Ginge and Yung Filly.

The 38-year-old has since joined his new teammates on live broadcasts of the match, with Man United’s top scorer not shying away from making jokes.

Rooney made his teammates burst into laughter during the latest stream, reacting quickly after reading a crude comment from the chat.

“For some reason I just get called ‘you’re a big piece of shit grandma’ apparently, well done mate,” said Angry Ginge – real name Morgan Burtwistle. “Someone is obviously not very happy with Real Madrid’s victory.”

Rooney gave a deadpan response after a comment was read on the live stream referring to a “big slutty granny”.

Rooney was quick to respond, with the 38-year-old making the deadpan comment “I don’t think that was aimed at you”.

“I don’t think it was aimed at either of you,” Yung Filly added, before starting to laugh.

The 38-year-old had previously been targeted by opposition fans with chants during matches during his career, referencing national newspaper reports in 2004.

Rooney, then 18, made headlines after it emerged he had paid £140 for sex with prostitute Charlotte Glover, then 21.

It was also claimed in 2004 that in a Liverpool brothel he had sex with Gina McCarrick, then 37, and her grandmother Patricia Tierney, then 48, who wore a rubber catsuit and was known under the name “Auld Slapper”.

The latter later denied the claims, but Wayne admitted to sleeping with unnamed prostitutes at the brothel.

Rooney’s light-hearted response, brushing off the jibe, is not the first time he has made his new playing teammates burst into laughter.

During his debut on the stream, Rooney said: “If you (sic) want us to come back, I’ll come back.” Yung Filly said yes right away.

Rooney was jokingly greeted by Angry Ginge – who said: “You can come back tomorrow, mate.” Don’t be shitty anymore.’

This caused Rooney to respond with a light-hearted jab, firing back: “Ah, you red-headed bastard!”.

Rooney had returned to play again in the professional clubs of EA Sports FC for the Girth N Turf team.

The Man United and England legend stunned YouTuber Angry Ginge with a crude and light jibe on his debut last week.

Earlier on Sunday, Rooney was revealed as Pro Clubs’ latest signing from Girth N Turf.

Stunned by Rooney’s response, this provoked an instant laugh from Burtwistle, whose disbelief at the scathing remark could not have been more evident.

Rooney is the latest sports star to have represented Girth N Turf, while teenage darts sensation Luke Littler is another sports star to have played for them at professional online clubs.

The England legend was due to make his punditry debut for Match of the Day last weekend before having to pull out due to injury.

He was set to make his debut on the iconic BBC show last Saturday but was forced to pull out, with Martin Keown replacing him.

And the former Everton striker revealed he had to cancel his appearance on the show after picking up an injury while on holiday.

Rooney wrote on

“Unfortunately, I suffered a painful back injury while on vacation with my family, but I look forward to being part of the team in the near future.

“Good luck to Gary Lineker and the guys for tonight’s show (sic) and see you soon.”

Show host Lineker responded by saying: There will be other opportunities. Get fit soon.

Since retiring in 2021, Rooney has managed Derby, MLS side DC United and had an unhappy spell at Championship club Birmingham City.

Rooney was due to make his Match of The Day debut last weekend but had to withdraw

The show went on as usual with Rooney replaced by MOTD 2 regular Martin Keown.

He was sacked by the Blues in January after less than three months in charge and is currently taking a break to be with his family.

Rooney, however, is keen to return to the touchline soon and has been linked with a possible move to Saudi Arabia to follow in the footsteps of his former international teammate Steven Gerrard.

England appeared as a pundit for TNT Sports last month for its coverage of Manchester United’s win over Everton.

He was also a pundit in the studio as the BBC covered Manchester United’s FA Cup win over Nottingham in February.
