Quest Log Updates

Additional updates have been made to the Quest Journal (hotkey L) with an additional checkbox selector for quests you wish to track as well as additional information about the quest and its status. Hovering over the quest in the journal will also identify quest types, such as whether it is repeatable, important, or part of a campaign questline. There will be a three-dot icon indicating if a quest is in progress or a campfire indicating it is part of a Warband-eligible quest.

Spellbook Updates

In addition to the addition of Hero Talents (available at level 71) to the Talent panel, additional updates have been made to the Grimoire. Specializations, Talents, and the Grimoire have all been consolidated into a single Talents & Grimoire option (hotkey N) in the UI.

Players will be able to view more spells and abilities on a single screen, with all discipline abilities more easily visible within the pages. The search function at the top of the spellbook will also allow players to see spells and abilities that are missing from the action bar. The spellbook can also be minimized and passive abilities can be hidden from the list.

Manufacturing reagents

Reagents will now display which expansion they are associated with, making it easier to sort through the items you have stored in your bank and determine if you REALLY need that Rain Poppy you’ve been saving from Pandaria or if it’s really time to let it go.

Arachnophobia Mode

For those who have an aversion to spiders and prefer not to see them on your screen during your adventures, a new Arachnophobia mode is available in the game menu options (Esc hotkey) under Accessibility in the General section.

Warning: By clicking on this image you will discover the original model.

Once selected, spiders will be visually replaced with alternate creatures where possible. Not all spider models will be replaced, and you may still encounter references, but we hope this additional option helps you in your adventures across Azeroth. For more information, check out our support article (clicking on examples will reveal spiders and their alternate forms in the same reveal).

We hope these improvements and more will help make your time in Azeroth even better.
