A 36-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while two other young women were evaluated and released at the scene.
It is not clear whether they were shot by gunmen or by police. The two officers involved have worked for the department for 13 years and five years.

He added: “We have a busy crime scene here. We’re trying to sort everything out.
“We had two officers return fire, and he was just pronounced dead.”
