Travis Kelce to appear in Ryan Murphy’s new horror TV series

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend is going to Hollywood. Don’t worry Brads, Chads and dads, Travis Kelce isn’t leaving the field yet (he just signed a huge two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs). However, he is using the offseason to put his acting skills to the test with an appearance on a new Ryan Murphy show, Grotesquerie.

On Tuesday, actress Niecy Nash, who stars in the upcoming FX horror drama, surprised Murphy fans, Swifties and football fanatics alike by revealing the celebrity who would be joining the series: Kelce. In a video from the shoot shared on her Instagram, Nash (one of Murphy’s leading ladies) said to the camera: “Guys, guess who I’m working with on Grotesque?” The Kansas City Chiefs star then entered the frame smiling and stroking his beard before placing his hand on Nash’s shoulder. “Jumping into new territory with Niecy! ” exclaimed Kelce.

“We are there!” she added.

“This is what happens when WINNERS team up‼️,” wrote the Emmy-winning actress (Nash was recently recognized for her role on Murphy’s Dahmer – Monster: The story of Jeffrey Dahmer. “@killatrav Welcome to the Grostequerie!””

Kelce shared the post on his Instagram Story with the caption: “Enter a new world with one of the legends @niecynash1.”

Interestingly, the last star to start acting and surprisingly feature in one of Murphy’s franchises was Kim Kardashian, who starred alongside Emma Roberts in American Horror Story: Delicate. Given Swift and Kardashian’s checkered past, do what you want with this information.

Kelce’s pipeline from football to the big screen should come as no surprise to fans. The NFL star previously starred in his own dating show on E! called Catching Kelceand he hosts an upcoming game show called Are you smarter than a celebrity?a version of the popular 2007 show Are you smarter than a 5th grader? He also hosted Saturday Night Live after winning the 2023 Super Bowl and making a joint appearance on the late-night sketch show last fall with his girlfriend.

There doesn’t appear to be a release date for the FX show yet, although Murphy and Nash shared a creepy voiceover teaser earlier this year.
