the Truth About Bryan Kohberger Stalking Claims

Bryan Kohberger is off the hook for an allegation.

The 29-year-old man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022 did not stalk one of the victims before they died, the prosecution and defense agreed during a a court hearing on April 10, according to the Idaho Statesman.

In fact, Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson said the allegation that he stalked one of the students…Kaylee Goncalves21, Madison Mogen21, Xana Noyaule20, and Ethan Chapin20 – was simply “wrong”.

Lawyers for both sides also denied reports that Kohberger followed one of the victims on social media.

But even though the stalking allegations were dropped by both sides, prosecutors disagreed with the defense’s request to move the trial to a new location due to concerns about how the Media attention surrounding the case could affect potential jurors.

“The state is in a practical position and trying to use common sense here,” Thompson told the court on April 10, according to the Idaho Statesman. “It appears that the defense’s position is that it is acceptable to risk influencing additional jurors in order to check the biases of other potential jurors, and I am not sure that is how this court should proceed. “
