San Jose Sharks (@Sanjosesharks) Managing Director Mike Grier Announced today that the club acquired the selection of first round of Dallas in 2025 and a selection of third round conditional round in 2025 from The Stars in exchange for F Mikael Granlund and D Cody this.
San Jose will receive a selection of third round from Dallas in 2025 if Dallas went to the Stanley Cup final. If Dallas does not reach the Stanley Cup final in 2025, the Sharks will rather receive a selection of fourth round in 2025 (selection of Winnipeg).
The Sharks now hold eight selections in the NHL 2025 recovery, including two in the first round.
Granlund, 32, recorded 45 points (15 goals, 30 assists) in 52 games this year with San Jose. During his six previous games, Granlund recorded eight points (three goals, five assists) and led the team at the time of trade in assists and points. He recorded his 400th career assist in the November 20 match of San Jose in Dallas and reached the 40 -point threshold for the eighth time in his career on January 21 in Nashville. Granlund ranks 11th among the Finnish Nhlers in points, ninth in assists and 14th in games played, was selected to represent Finland in the 4 First Nations. He can become the fifth skater of Finnish origin to record 10 seasons of 30 assistants, joining Jari Kurri (13), Teemu Selanne (12), Saku Koivu (12) and Mikko Koivu (11).
During his two seasons in Teal, Granlund appeared in 121 games, collecting 105 points (27 goals, 78 assists) and finished the 2023-24 season recorded points in 13 consecutive games, as well as a sequence of Help of nine games to finish the season. The two are the second longer by all the sharks in the history of the franchise.
This, 31 years old, appeared in 54 games for San Jose, recording 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) and led the Sharks in total time on Ice (1,175: 41), blocked shots (100) and classified Second among the defenders of the team in blows (52). On January 4 against New Jersey, this scored the winning goal with 25 seconds to play in the match, recording the last last goal of Go-Ahead by a Sharks defender in the history of the franchise, behind Marc’s goal -Edouard Vlasic at 19: 55 from the third on January 5, 2015.
During his NHL career, he appeared in 840 NHL games, scoring 226 points (52 goals, 174 points) with the Senators of Ottawa, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers and Sharks.
