Sources – Falcons and Eagles Likely Fake Decisions This Week

A resolution in the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles’ alleged free agent tampering cases is expected to come this week, according to league sources.

The Falcons were investigated for contact they may or may not have had with then-free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins before signing with Atlanta. The Eagles were investigated for contact they may or may not have had with running back Saquon Barkley, then a free agent. The NFL has spoken to various members of both organizations.

A league source indicated that the Falcons’ alleged transgressions are considered more significant and that discipline should be harsher for Atlanta.
