Source – Struggling WR Rashee Rice attends Chiefs OTAs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rashee Rice is with the Kansas City Chiefs and participating in early offseason training with the full team, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Rice also participated in an earlier portion of the Chiefs’ offseason program when meetings were held virtually.

Rice, 24, was arrested this spring in Dallas and charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision resulting in serious bodily injury and six counts of collision resulting in injury for his involvement in a crash involving six cars on a highway. Police alleged Rice was driving another vehicle at a high speed and going up to 120 mph shortly before the crash.

He is being sued in Texas for more than $1 million in actual damages and $10 million in punitive damages by two people who say they were injured in the crash.

Rice is also a suspect in an alleged assault that injured a man at a Dallas nightclub earlier this month.

Rice led Chiefs receivers in catches (79), yards (938) and touchdowns (7) as a rookie last season.
