Eagle-eyed fans spot WWE plot twist as star takes jab at Logan and Jake Paul
WWE stars insulting Logan Paul continues to make fans laugh, but some couldn’t help but spot something amiss on Raw this week.
Jey Uso was the latest to go after the Paul brothers this week as he took aim at United States Champion Paul.
But while his funny jibe got a few laughs at the time, it was the fans getting a closer look behind the grappler that really got people talking.
Uso currently leads WWE as the #1 contender for Damian Priest’s World Heavyweight Championship.
He will face the Judgment Day member at this weekend’s Backlash: France Premium Live Event in Paris, WWE’s first major event since April’s blockbuster WrestleMania.
The former tag team specialist was asked about Logan Paul joining him on Monday Night Raw during the recent WWE Draft, which awards stars to its two flagship weekly television shows.
Sassy, Uso fired: “I’m glad we signed a brother Paul. I just wish it was the one with the winning record!
Not much is wasted on WWE television these days, so there’s a good chance this is WWE’s way of setting up a possible feud between the superkick specialist and Paul in the coming months – d ‘especially since the two also clashed verbally and physically in the ring. to show.
However, once the backstage interview was over, fans were chatting about something else entirely.
During the same segment, fans had spotted another Judgment Day member, Dominik Mysterio, leaving a nearby dressing room – just seconds after Liv Morgan left the same room.
Morgan is the wrestler responsible for seriously injuring Mysterio’s on-screen partner, Rhea Ripley, after a backstage fight went wrong.
This left Ripley on the shelf and forced her to relinquish her championship after a dominant run, presumably leaving Morgan and Mysterio fiercely at odds.
While Uso chatted in the foreground, fans couldn’t help but speculate about the cleverly placed drama unfolding in the hallway behind.
“I haven’t seen this live… it’s interesting,” one said, after later following it up with a video on X.
“This doesn’t just happen by chance either,” said another. “They showed it for a reason.”
Another post said: “One can be explained as an accident where they pass each other but exit the same room. I’d say Liv and Dom are up to something, I can’t wait to see what.
Offering a playful benefit of the doubt to on-screen villain Mysterio, another said: “Dom was having trouble opening a jar and Liv was there so she helped him, nothing crazy.”
Another impressed viewer added: “Actually this is a real Easter egg, it wasn’t a coincidence haha. »
Backlash: France also offers a first defense of the undisputed WWE title this weekend for new champion Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes, after beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, meets AJ Styles in Paris.
