Scottie Scheffler’s PGA Tour buddies are roasting him over his arrest last week.

Xander Schauffele, who won the 2024 PGA Championship on Sunday in his first career major, revealed on Barstool’s “Pardon My Take” show that he and several other golfers, including Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Gary Woodland, s were attacking Scheffler over his arrest Friday morning. following a traffic incident outside Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, that left a police officer with “pain, swelling and abrasions to his left wrist and knee,” according to a report from police.

There was an additional police presence outside Valhalla Friday morning after a man who worked with a vendor at the PGA Championship was struck and killed by a shuttle bus.

Scheffler, who was driving to the course for the second round of the tournament, said “there was a big misunderstanding” in a “very chaotic situation” and thought he was doing what the cops asked him to do .

The police report alleges the two-time Masters champion “refused to comply” with the detective. Bryan Gillis followed the instructions and ended up “dragging” Gillis to the ground as he accelerated.

Gillis was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to the report.

Scheffler, 27, was charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and failure to obey signals from officers directing traffic.
