Bukayo Saka made Tottenham fans eat their words as he watched his corner being headed in by one of their own players after they taunted him.

Arsenal claimed a huge victory over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the hosts failed to come back from a 3-0 defeat.

It looked to be Arsenal’s toughest game of the encounter, but the visitors got off to the perfect start when Saka’s corner was converted into his own net by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Home fans had tried to put off Saka by chanting “you have let your country down” in reference to his missed penalty in the European Championship final.

It had no impact, however, as the Gunners broke the deadlock and Saka made sure to respond to the Tottenham faithful by cutting off his ears.

Saka then doubled the lead with a stylish finish before Kai Havertz made it three from another corner.

Spurs hit back with Cristian Romero capitalizing on a David Raya error before Son Heung-min scored from the penalty spot.

Arsenal managed to maintain and extend their lead at the top of the table before Man City reduced it with victory over Nottingham Forest.
