Downtown Sacramento nightclub announces closure

The ownership group plans to transform the club into a new concept.

Park Ultra Lounge will close its doors after nearly two decades in business, the club announced Sunday. The club, located on 15th Street in Sacramento, will close its doors on June 1. MAC Hospitality said the closure was in preparation for a concept transformation. Details of the planned transformation are expected to be revealed by the end of the year. “When we opened our doors in 2005, we were looking to bring exciting new concepts and entertainment options to downtown Sacramento’s nightlife,” said Mason Wong, Partner at MAC Hospitality. “We are committed to creating innovative entertainment environments and experiences to better meet the needs and desires of our customers in the future.” Renovations to the venue are planned for 2025, the club said.
