Ronda Rousey breaks down in tears twice as she discusses major issues away from iconic careers in the UFC and WWE

“Rowdy” had been stoic throughout her book tour, but she broke down in tears while discussing the unconditional love she received from her partner after a career-ending loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016 .

“I literally had nothing left in me, I could barely get out of bed,” Rousey told British entrepreneur Steven Bartlett on his podcast The Diary Of A CEO.

“You could call it depression, but I haven’t seen anyone and no diagnosis has been made.

“(Travis) was incredible. He really helped me get out of my own hole.

“I think he understood to a certain extent… He was incredibly talented naturally, but he wasn’t pursuing a goal of athletic greatness since he was six years old, like I was.

“I don’t think a lot of people understand that, but he was also always very supportive and there for me, he never got sick of me.

“Being like this for over a year and having his incredible love and patience. He was right there for me all the time and held me when I needed it, even though he didn’t understand why I was so sad.

“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me. I love him so much.”

Rousey trained in judo as a child and by age 17 she was good enough to book a spot in the 2004 Olympics, but left the Athens Games empty-handed.

Four years later, Rousey became the first American woman to win a medal in judo when she won bronze at the 2008 Olympics.

Despite starring in “Road House” with Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey thinks Jake Gyllenhaal would lose in a fight with fellow actor Tom Hardy.

The 37-year-old then transitioned to MMA, became a superstar UFC champion and won 12 fights before ending her career with back-to-back knockout defeats.

Despite so much going on, she struggled with winning an Olympic gold medal and the fact that she couldn’t leave MMA with a perfect record.

Rousey wiped tears from her eyes and laughed off the emotion as she proclaimed, “I knew you were going to get me at some point, I told you I was emotional.”

The MMA legend, who shares a child with Browne, got emotional again while discussing her fertility struggles, which include two miscarriages and an ongoing IVF journey.

“I found out yesterday that our first (IVF) cycle didn’t work,” Rousey said, wiping tears from her eyes for the second time.

“It’s hard. It’s hard for anyone going through this and people don’t talk about it.

“It’s difficult because we have so much hope every time. I don’t know, I’ll have to wait until this book tour is over to try again. I was really hoping to be pregnant today.

“I hope we can have a few more children.”
