Reuters poll: the US 10-year yield should reach 4% in six months and 3.85% in a year.
- 10-year US Treasuries to yield 4.00% in six months, 3.85% in a year (compared to 3.91% and 3.75% in March survey)
- The biggest risk is that U.S. 10-year bond yields could be higher than expected in three months, 25 of the 29 strategists said.
The current 10-year yield is 4.373%. The poll therefore expects a rate cut from today. However, these expectations are higher than the previous survey results and carry upside risk.
