According to the report, officers went to the Bank of America on Geyer Springs Road after receiving reports of a shooting shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday.

After arriving on scene, officers said an armored truck driver from Loomis told them Green had bludgeoned him, leading him to shoot Green “multiple times.”

The driver said Green fell to the ground screaming, but within seconds he got on his bike and took off. Between then and the next, Green is believed to have gotten into his vehicle.

Later, LRPD officials said Green called dispatchers while on Interstate 430 near Rodney Parham Road.

When Arkansas Game and Fish and Arkansas State Police officers arrived, they said Green was in his car partially blocking traffic at a complete stop and he told them that he had been shot.

Police said he was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment and is now believed to be stable.

Although KARK 4 News was able to confirm who he is and where he works and spoke to some people who knew him, no one wanted to go on camera or give an interview. Many of those interviewed said this didn’t sit well with Green and that his family and friends had been concerned about his state of mind before this incident.

KARK 4 News also spoke briefly with the driver who allegedly shot Green. He said he was asking permission to interview, although we still haven’t heard back.
