Newcastle will consider cashing in on striker Callum Wilson this summer, talkSPORT understands.

Wilson has interest from West Ham as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The experienced striker is out of action at the end of next season and selling now would help Newcastle deal with their profit and sustainability rules (PSR) issues.

The 32-year-old joined the Bournemouth Magpies in 2020 and has scored 48 times in 108 games for them.

They paid around £20million for him and this could be the last chance to recoup some cash for the striker.

Wilson could find first-team opportunities limited next season, if Eddie Howe puts them on his transfer wishlist.

talkSPORT reported in May that Newcastle had rekindled their long-term interest in Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin is in the final year of his contract with Everton and Newcastle believe he could be available for a nominal fee.

It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for Howe, as will Wolves defenseman Max Kilman.

They have already rejected an offer from Elliot Anderson, plus cash, for center back.

Meanwhile, the Magpies could sell 19-year-old Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh.

Everton are in talks to sign the striker, who impressed on loan at Arne Slot’s Feyenoord last season, but he is on the radar of several European and Premier League sides.
