SAN DIEGO –
A 47-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle in Rancho Peñasquitos Friday afternoon.
San Diego police said the rider was riding a 2023 Harley Davidson heading south “at a high rate of speed” when he crashed around 12:20 p.m. on Black Mountain Road, north of Carmel Mountain Rd.
He died before he could be transported to hospital.
The department’s traffic department is investigating and the man will be identified once his family is notified.
