In an anecdote apparently taken from an episode of It’s always sunny in PhiladelphiaDeVito shared in a 2022 episode of The always sunny podcast in which he posthumously tried his hand at funeral hairstyling.
When a client died, her family asked him if he wanted to do her hair, Taxi the star explained, after which he styled several more corpses.
“I went to the morgue and there they are, they are dead, they are made up by the undertaker,” he remembers. “I would take their hair and use the dry setting lotion, comb through the hair, set it, take it out and fluff it up a little bit.”
