Masters champion Scottie Scheffler arrives at the RBC Heritage in South Carolina to play just three days after his triumph at Augusta – leaving his heavily pregnant wife Meredith at home.

Masters champion Scottie Scheffler arrived at the RBC Heritage in South Carolina to compete again on the PGA Tour just three days after his triumph at Augusta.

This means the world number 1 has once again left his heavily pregnant wife Meredith at their home in Texas. She should give birth any moment now.

Scheffler was incredibly emotional after his second Masters victory on Sunday as he rushed to quickly return to his childhood sweetheart, who is pregnant with their first child.

‘I’m going home; I’ll be home as quickly as possible,” Scheffler said when asked if he had a message for his wife. “I love you and I’m coming home.”

Scheffler hopped on a private jet to return home to his native Texas, but was later spotted at a dive bar in Dallas celebrating his victory.

Now, it’s unclear if Scottie made a quick stop at home before heading out to party, but there are a number of photos of him at that bar that have been making the rounds on social media.

This included shots of him wearing the iconic green jacket while standing next to a number of people at Inwood Tavern.

Scheffler repeatedly insisted last week that he would quit The Masters — even though he was in the lead — if Meredith went into labor.

Fortunately, that never happened and Scottie won his second major and collected the $3 million-plus cash prize that came with it.

More soon.
