Lyra Valkyria and GUNTHER advance to the finals of the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments

The week-long journey to get to the finals of the King & Queen of the Ring tournament is over, at least as far as the Raw side of the bracket is concerned. Indeed, this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Greensboro saw two semifinal matches take place with a trip to Saudi Arabia on the line.

First, Lyra Valkyria was treated to a pre-match pep talk from Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch and she turned that into a big upset win over former Women’s Champion Iyo Sky after an exhausting back-and-forth match.

Later, GUNTHER vs. Jey Uso earned the spot in the main event and while they didn’t exactly tear the house down, they put on a decent match. In the end, Jey threw GUNTHER towards the referee, causing a delay in the count after the splash. GUNTHER was then expelled.

And then I wrapped up Jey and got him to win the match.

Valkyria awaits the winner of the Nia Jax vs. Bianca Belair match on Smack down this week, while GUNTHER awaits the winner of the Randy Orton vs. Tama Tonga match on this same show.
