Kelly Osbourne denies taking Ozempic after losing 85 pounds
Kelly Osbourne has denied taking Ozempic after losing 85 pounds following the birth of her son.
“I know everyone thinks I took Ozempic,” the “DWTS” alum told Extra.
“I didn’t take Ozempic,” she said. ” I do not know where it comes from. My mother (Sharon Osbourne) took Ozempic.
Kelly, 39, claimed to have lost weight after giving birth to her son, Sidney – who she shares with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson – in 2022.
“I had gestational diabetes and had to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy,” she explained. “Otherwise I was at greater risk of developing diabetes, which I didn’t want. I cut out sugar and carbs and lost weight quickly.
Earlier this year, Kelly sang the praises of the controversial drug.
“I think it’s amazing,” she told E! News in January. “There are a million ways to lose weight. Why not do it by doing something that isn’t as boring as working out? »

She continued: “People hate it because they want to do it. And the people who hate this stuff the most are the ones who do it in secret or are pissed off that they can’t afford it. Unfortunately, at the moment it’s something that’s very expensive, but it won’t be because it actually works.”
Kelly’s mother, Sharon, 71, openly lost 40 pounds on the drug despite some unpleasant side effects.
“I was really sick for a few months,” she shared on “The Talk.”
“The first few months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, had a stomach ache, whatever.
Despite how she felt, Sharon said she had no regrets about taking the drug.
“I do not regret it. All that held weight for me was, ‘I want it now,'” she explained on Britain’s “Loose Women” in January.
“The injections I was getting worked, but it seems like now I can’t really put anything in.”
The “Charm School” alum later shared in an interview with the Daily Mail that she would like to gain weight back, but hasn’t been able to.
“I’m too skinny and I can’t gain weight,” she explained. “I want it because I feel too skinny. I’m less than 100 pounds and I don’t want to be.
