Seven undecided voters in North Carolina criticize Trump in an interview with liberal CNN and say it’s the Republican candidate’s biggest problem with women.

A group of self-described undecided voters in North Carolina had harsh words for former President Donald Trump during a roundtable discussion broadcast by liberal CNN.

Although President Joe Biden’s reelection bid against Trump remains vulnerable, his campaign has said it believes one of its best paths to victory is to allude to Trump’s alleged cruelty toward women. However, a January poll showed that Biden’s lead over Trump among young women, as in many demographic segments, had diminished.

CNN hosted a focus group focused on female voters in North Carolina, a state that Trump won in 2020 and 2016 but remains on Democrats’ wish list to go blue for the first time since 2008.

Two of the women voted for Trump, but all are concerned about the president’s legal troubles, with one — Shante Williams — so disgusted that she demanded he be put in the hole.

‘I do not care! Put him in jail! We don’t hesitate to put other inmates in solitary confinement,” she said. “Put him there and shut up. He can talk to walls. He can talk to rats. I’m fine with it.” form.’

Several panelists seemed to believe that it was unlikely that Trump would ever see consequences for his action.

“He totally considers himself Teflon,” Trish Saemann said. “Nothing sticks with him and I’m really nervous that he’s starting to look like he’s right.”

All of the panelists thought Trump should be tried, believing there were simply too many accusations against the president to ignore.

“How many times can we say it’s a witch hunt? Personally, I’m tired of hearing it,” said one of the undecided.

They all confirmed that if he was convicted in the Stormy Daniels case, they would never consider voting for him.

Biden recently tried to attack Trump on the issue of abortion in an appeal to women during a rare visit to the former president’s home state of Florida last week.

The president’s campaign says that once Florida’s abortion law takes effect — it bans abortions after six weeks, which is before many women know they are pregnant — there will effectively be a ban on abortion throughout the southeast of the country.

“Many women in the Southeast may have to drive for a day or more to reach the nearest clinic,” Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler said on a call with reporters Monday. .

“There is one person to blame for this cruelty and it is Donald Trump.”

The president’s re-election team has also argued that Florida is in play for them this cycle.

“With our significant financial advantage, the Biden campaign has many paths to victory, including Florida,” Tyler said.

Biden and his team have attempted to tie the 2024 election to access to reproductive rights across the country.

They see it as a primary issue – and a winning issue for them – in every battleground state across the country.

Abortion rights proved a winning issue for Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections, when the party did much better than expected.

Biden has capitalized on the body of abortion laws passed across the country since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Earlier this month, Trump said the issue of abortion should be left up to each state to decide.

“My view is that now we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine it by vote or legislation, or maybe both.” ‘they decide, it must be the law of the land. In this case, it’s state law,” the former president said in a video posted to his Truth Social account.

Some conservatives have criticized Trump for his position. He had previously suggested he would accept a 15-week national ban on abortion.
