Jude Bellingham scores stoppage-time winner as Real Madrid edge past Barcelona in El Clasico

Jude Bellingham all but sealed Real Madrid’s La Liga title with a stoppage-time winner against Barcelona on Sunday night.

The England superstar fired into the roof of the net with his left foot as he latched onto a cross from the right to give Los Blancos a 3-2 Clasico victory at the Bernabeu.

The result puts Real Madrid 11 points clear of Barca at the top of the table with just six matches remaining this season.

With just over 20 minutes to play, it looked like Real Madrid were destined to lose when Fermin Lopez put Barca 2-1 up from close range.

But Carlo Ancelotti’s men equalized in the 73rd minute when Lucas Vazquez equalized.

And in the second minute of injury time, Bellingham fired home the winner as he fired into the roof of the net as he slotted in at the far post.

Earlier, Andreas Christensen gave Barcelona the lead six minutes before Vinicius Jr equalized with a penalty in the 18th minute.

Bellingham was the Clasico hero for the second time this season after scoring both goals in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win in the reverse fixture.

The 20-year-old now has 17 goals in La Liga, 21 in all competitions in what has been an exceptional debut campaign in Spain.

He is on the verge of winning his first career league title, while Real Madrid are still in the Champions League after beating reigning champions Manchester City on penalties earlier in the week.
