Jared Cannonier’s upcoming fight against Nassourdine Imavov is the highlight of UFC on ESPN 57 this weekend.
Cannonier is 12 years older than his 40-year-old opponent, but has won his last two fights, including a decision victory over Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night 216.

He has won four of his last five fights and will prove to be a tricky client for Imavov.
Imavov, born in Russia but a French citizen, has been more active in recent years than Cannonier.
He was beaten by Strickland shortly after Cannonier faced him, but beat Roman Dolidze last time out.

UFC on ESPN 57 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 8.
It will take place at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
The main card is scheduled to begin at 1 a.m. Sunday morning in the UK, with the main event scheduled to take place at 4 a.m.
The action will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.

Cannonier vs Imavov: What was said?
Cannonier suffered an MCL injury at the end of 2023, but he is fit and raring to go.
He said: “I continued my strength and conditioning, worked on my striking and stuff like that.
“I still feel good, I feel stronger than ever.
“I’ve made a lot of improvement since my last fight, and even since the injury I’ve made even more improvement.
“The injury happened and I feel like when I come back I’m a better fighter because I studied and I still think about this thing.”
