Jack Grealish calls the ‘Hardest Geezer’ a legend in wholesome meet-up before Man City win
Jack Grealish has expressed his admiration for the ‘Hardest Geezer’ after the internet star’s incredible running feat.
Russ Cook recently completed his race across Africa for 352 grueling days and helped raise more than £1million for charity.
He even completed the London Marathon two weeks later and is now looking forward to what is undoubtedly an exceptional achievement.
On Thursday evening, Brighton fan Cook was in attendance for their home clash against Manchester City and stood pitchside before kick-off.
During the warm-ups, City star Grealish was on hand to say hello and did so with a warm hug.
“What a legend! I looked at your stuff,” he said before shaking her hand and ending their healthy encounter with: “Congratulations.”

Speaking to Sky Sports, he revealed his excitement at being back at the American Express Stadium for the crucial clash.
“I can’t wait to be back! I haven’t been here in a while, I’ve obviously been a little busy. My dad and grandpa are up there somewhere so I’m going to meet them in a minute.
“We used to all go down together, some of my best childhood memories going down, it’s really great to be back.”
The ‘Hardest Geezer’ also predicted that Brighton would beat City 3-2, but that didn’t come true that night.
City then beat the Seagulls 4-0 thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Julian Alvarez, as well as a brace from Phil Foden.
It’s a result that puts them second in the table ahead of Liverpool and just two points behind leaders Arsenal in the race.
Pep Guardiola’s side also have a game in hand against the Gunners and a win will return them to first place.
City are favorites to go all the way to win a fourth consecutive league title and have five games to finish the job.
