Ronda Rousey has praised Logan Paul’s rise in WWE, but regrets not having had the same development time as the YouTube sensation.
Paul is the current United States Champion in WWE after a successful title defense at WrestleMania XL last weekend.

The influencer turned boxer and grappler has only wrestled 11 times since his 2022 debut for the company, but remains one of their biggest names.
While this is due in part to what appears to be a natural ability for the skills required in the industry and undeniable charisma, Rousey has made it clear that Paul has something else going for her.
The UFC Hall of Fame star, who competed in what appears to have been his final match for WWE last summer, says the organization offers the 29-year-old much more in terms of resources for his matches and its development.
She believes she was given the tools to succeed in her opening match – a WrestleMania tag team clash with Triple H and Kurt Angle in 2018 – but never saw the same level of preparation again.
Rousey has no doubt that Logan is destined for great things in the wrestling ring, but laments that he didn’t get the same treatment.
“I wish I had time to repeat that he has,” she told Steve O’s Wild Ride. It’s not evenly distributed.
“He’s like their next big, big star, they’re rolling out the red carpet.
“It shows that if you give people the time to rehearse and the resources, you can do amazing things.

“It’s frustrating that not everyone gets this treatment.
“My first game with them was amazing because we had six weeks to rehearse, all the best minds in the business came and put their two cents in and it was an instant classic.
“Then they never did it again. I said to myself, “Why isn’t this the model?” »
“They’re doing this with Logan Paul and he’s putting in a fantastic performance.”

Rousey added: “Look what you can do when you really put organization and effort into things.
“I’m amazed that this billion-dollar company is succeeding in so many ways despite itself.”
WWE’s investment in Paul is evident, with the star winning the United States Title by defeating Rey Mysterio in just his eighth match at Crown Jewel in 2023.
He has also previously had notable feuds with Roman Reigns, The Miz and Ricochet.

A former multi-time wrestling champion, Rousey vowed she would never return to WWE after criticizing the treatment of female stars during her time there.
Although she wrestled in memorable matches against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch and held the tag team titles with pal Shayna Baszler, she stepped away from action after her Summerslam 2023 outing against the latter .
In a scathing outburst at WWE during an interview to promote her book, Our Fight, she later said: “I don’t need anything from them, and I don’t intend to go back, so I can say everything I think and feel while everyone else is still held captive by their organization.”
Rousey then opened up about the struggles she faced with a concussion during her transition from the UFC to the wrestling ring.
