‘If I speak, there will be fire’ – Mohamed Salah left angry by Jurgen Klopp row at West Ham

Mohamed Salah refused to speak for fear of lashing out after a heated moment with Jurgen Klopp on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool teammate Darwin Nunez had to intervene and pull Salah away after an argument with Klopp on the touchline as the Reds struggled against West Ham in a 2-2 draw.

Questioned by journalists at the London Stadium, the Egypt international said: “If I speak today there will be fire.”

This was despite manager Klopp insisting the situation was resolved.

The German said: “No (I can’t say what was said), but we already talked about it in the dressing room. For me it’s done.”
