Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds posts heartwarming response to Wrexham supporter after incredible promotion

Ryan Reynolds has posted a heartwarming response to a die-hard Wrexham fan after sealing back-to-back promotions.

The Red Dragons sealed a place in League One with a 6-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers.

It was an emotional moment for everyone involved with the club considering their fall through the divisions in recent years.

Now, however, their rebound continues after winning the National League last season.

And one supporter explained exactly what it meant to him on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He posted: “Literally back to where we were stolen from! @VancityReynolds @RMcElhenney the city is forever in your debt but @thehumphreyker you will always be our true hero for choosing us!

“Absolutely gutted, my dad can’t be here to witness this after the miles we’ve covered over the years.”

Reynolds reposted the post and added: “Neil, your father knew many years ago what Rob and I – and the rest of the world – have discovered recently. Wrexham is indeed magical. We are indebted to him and thousands supporters like him.

And fans of various football clubs responded to the Hollywood superstar’s heartwarming response.

“I think this Hollywood guy really gets it. Classy stuff and well done from a SAFC fan,” one said.
