Cole Palmer has joined an exclusive group of goalscorers after scoring twice in stoppage time against Manchester United.

The Chelsea star scored in the 99th and 100th minutes at Stamford Bridge to turn things around in the dying seconds for his side.

The midfielder had the chance to win his first match of the season after Fabio Silva awarded a penalty.

He took responsibility and slotted home the penalty to bring some positivity to Bramall Lane after a poor start to the campaign.

Bruno Fernandes joined this exclusive list in 2020 with a goal in highly controversial circumstances against Brighton.

He scored at the final whistle!

The current Man United captain scored a penalty from the final kick which was awarded following a VAR check after the referee’s whistle.

7. Dejan Kulusevski – Tottenham vs Sheffield United – September 2023

Minutes: 99.53

Tottenham lost to Sheffield United in the 98th minute of their September 2023 clash.

However, after Richarlison equalized, Dejan Kulusevski scored approaching the 100th minute to win the match for Spurs.

His strike set a new record for the last time a team came from behind to win a match in history.

6. Juan Mata – Chelsea v Norwich City – August 2011

Minutes: 100.03

Juan Mata marked his Chelsea debut with a goal in the 100th minute.

There were 11 minutes added to the match and Mata stepped up to secure a 3-1 victory for his new team.

A defensive error allowed the Spaniard to score and finish as the clock reached triple digits.

5. Leon Bailey – Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace – September 2023

Minutes: 100.09

Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey also completed a 3-1 victory to move into the bottom 10 goals in history.

After Douglas Luiz scored a penalty in the 98th minute, Bailey completed the victory with a last-second goal.

The effort helped Villa win their ninth consecutive home game, which is a club record in the Premier League.

4. Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal vs Manchester United – September 2023

Gabriel Jesus drove the Emirates crazy as he claimed a 3-1 win over Man United in 2023.

Arsenal were drawing 1-1 until the 96th minute when Declan Rice scored to turn things around.

As United passed through everyone trying to score, Jesus countered at the other end to confirm his team’s victory.

3. Cole Palmer – Chelsea v Manchester United – April 2024

Minutes: 100.39

Palmer’s winner against Man United places him third on the list of most recent goals in Premier League history.

After his penalty in the 99th minute, he grabbed the ball and returned to the center to try to score a winning goal.

And after a short corner in the final seconds of the match, his shot was deflected off Scott McTominay and into the back of the net, causing delirium inside Stamford Bridge.

2. Dirk Kuyt – Liverpool v Arsenal – April 2011

Minutes: 101.48

In 2011, Dirk Kuyt set the record for the last goal in the Premier League against Arsenal.

He scored a penalty for the Emirates to equalize just four minutes after Robin van Persie thought he had won the game at the other end of added time.

It was an elite classic and Kuyt’s penalty is still etched in history.

1. Oli McBurnie – Sheffield United v West Ham – January 2024

Minutes: 102.07

The scorer of the last goal in Premier League history is Oli McBurnie.

To end a frantic match against West Ham, goalkeeper Alphonse Areola fouled McBurnie in the box to concede a last-gasp penalty.

After a long injury layoff, the Sheffield United striker stepped up to score from the spot in the 102nd minute.
