Heeramandi: Sharmin Segal calls Aditi Rao Hydari ‘a schoolgirl’ for her punctuality; says “according to her, everyone is late”

Actress Heeramandi Sharmin Segal has been a constant topic of discussion ever since the release of the web series. Although her acting drew criticism from much of the public, she also took social media by storm with her statements.

A video went viral recently in which Sharmin can be seen referring to co-actress Aditi Rao Hydari as a ‘school girl’.

Earlier this month, Heeramandi actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Taaha Shah, Fardeen Khan, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Sheikh participated in an interview with IMDB. A clip from this interview is now all over social media in which Sharmin takes a playful dig at Aditi.

The actress who plays the character of Alamzeb in the show called Aditi a good schoolgirl for her punctuality. “The teacher will say that you need to submit your homework at that time and Aditi will do just that and not a word more than the word count limit. That’s Aditi for you. So according to her, everyone is late and she’s on time,” she said.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali on casting Sharmin for Heeramandi

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sharmin’s uncle, recently spoke about casting Sharmin for the role of Alamzeb in Heeramandi. In an interview with India Today, he said the young actress had the “face” of what Alamzeb should be, that is, “someone who doesn’t want to be tawaif or who doesn’t care about it.” doesn’t have the qualities.”

SLB also shared that although she is his niece, she had to go through the hardships. “There were countless tests and auditions.
