PLAY launched a 25% discount on Wednesday until May 15. At the same time, the airline announced a competition that would run until May 12 and would allow one lucky traveler to win free PLAY flights for a year to more than 40 destinations.

The sale applies to travel between July and December from Boston to the following 10 destinations: Iceland, Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Gothenburg, Hamburg, London, Paris and Stockholm.

“We want to celebrate all our travelers and passengers with this exciting promotion,” said Einar Örn Ólafsson, CEO of PLAY, in a statement. “Travelers can take advantage of this discount on our already affordable flights to visit more tourist destinations this year and get the chance to fly with us for free for an entire year.”

PLAY flights are available from the airline’s four U.S. destinations: Logan International Airport, Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport, New York Stewart International Airport and Dulles International Airport.

Discount flights from New York are suitable for travel between June and December, while discount flights from Boston, Baltimore, and Washington, DC are suitable for travel between July and December.

The agreement applies to the airfare, not taxes, fees, additional services and carrier charges, depending on the airline, and baggage restrictions and fees apply.

The sale on flights ends on May 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Travelers can enter the contest before May 12 at 11:59 p.m. ET by signing up for the airline’s newsletter. The winner, the airline’s “Tourist of the Year”, will be announced on May 16 after a random draw and notified by mail.
