Footage captures Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher’s contrasting and funny reactions to Bruno Fernandes equaliser

Bruno Fernandes left everyone stunned with his long-range effort, including Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.

The Manchester United talisman was responsible for another big moment at Old Trafford when he scored the 1-1 goal in the North West derby against Liverpool.

Capitalizing on a slow pass from Jarell Quansah, Fernandes slotted home a first-time effort from 40 yards to beat Caoimhin Kelleher from distance.

Fernandes’ 50th Premier League goal clearly left Carragher and Neville stunned. Sky Sports cameras capture their reaction to the effort.

Seeing the goal go in, Neville looked stunned, saying: “Oh, oh my God,” before a wry smile appeared on his face.

However, Carragher’s reaction was not as positive.

The Liverpool legend let out a groan as he saw Quansah give the ball away before immediately sitting up and putting his hand to his forehead after seeing the shot hit the net.

Carragher then sat quietly, shaking his head in disbelief, hand over his mouth.

Things got even better for Man United soon after. Kobbie Mainoo scored a stunner to put them 2-1.

However, the match ended in a draw when Aaron Wan-Bissaka beaten down Harvey Elliott in the penalty area late in the match, allowing Mohamed Salah to score and become the Premier League’s top scorer against the Red Devils.

A draw for Liverpool means they sit second behind Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Man United sit in sixth place and 11 points behind fourth.
