‘F*** your 50-0’ – Devin Haney’s father and Floyd Mayweather trade insults in heated ten-minute argument following Ryan Garcia defeat

Floyd Mayweather and Bill Haney clashed in a public altercation Wednesday night.

Devin Haney’s father and trainer, Bill, watched this past weekend as his son got beaten for the first time in his professional career by Ryan Garcia, being dropped three times in the process.

Before the fight, Haney Sr made some remarks suggesting that a sparring session with Devin was what caused Mayweather to retire – adding that boxing was now in the era of ‘Devin Haney’.

These remarks apparently didn’t go down well with Mayweather, and the two met in a lengthy, heated argument on Instagram live.

The two men first came to blows over stories of fighting.

Mayweather got angry and shouted, “Congratulations on having an undefeated fighter in the gym.

“But I’m undefeated under the lights. Is your fighter undefeated under the lights?”

The argument then developed with Haney Sr criticizing the former 15-belt world champion’s undefeated professional record of 50 wins without defeat.

He yelled, “You’re a bullshit motherfucker… F*** your 50-0, that shit doesn’t mean anything.

“Look at the opponents you chose, it doesn’t mean anything.”

Mayweather replied: “Bill, Bill, Bill. I don’t need to have a fucking contest with you. You know why?

“Bill, you know I’ve always had respect for you. I just called to find out what your problem with me is.”

The feud continued and Haney then took aim at his new rival for the management of his children, as the argument turned personal.

Eventually, Haney insisted he would continue working with his WBC super lightweight champion son, to which Mayweather responded: “You need help? He needed help the other night. “

The famous father replied: “You know what time it is with me when I see you.

“The Haney case will continue, have I ever needed your help with anything?”

“Your son needs help tonight, not the other night, you bald, injured man.

“My son needs me, tomorrow, today and every day. We don’t need you for dog shit.”

It’s clear that ‘Money’ would be ready to step in and help Haney after his points loss, with the champion now eyeing immediate redemption.

He gave an update on his health, insisting his jaw is fine despite a severely swollen face, and hopes for a return before the end of 2024.
