An exhibition on ‘100 Years of India at the Olympics’ was launched on Olympic Day (June 23) in Paris, host city of the 2024 Summer Games. The exhibition includes a detailed tour of the Olympic journey of India over the last century, the successes the country has enjoyed in the past and its recent resurgence, with an eye towards the future. It also celebrates the life and legacy of Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the Olympic Movement and was organized in association with the Pierre de Coubertin Family Association.

The exhibition is hosted at the Town Hall of the 7th arrondissement of Paris and will continue until the end of the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in September.

The inauguration of the exhibition took place in the presence of the President of the JSW Foundation, Sangita Jindal, and the founder of the Inspire Institute of Sport, Parth Jindal, who were joined by the President of the IOC, Thomas Bach , Minister of Culture, Madame Rachida Dati, Ambassador of India to China. the French Republic, Jawed Ashraf and the president of the Association of Pierre de Coubertin Families, Alexandra de Navacelle.

France and the French people can be proud to have a compatriot like Pierre de Coubertin. A visionary whose message of a world united in peaceful competition through sport resonates even more strongly today.
