Eagles’ political ad endorsing Kamala Harris for president is ‘counterfeit,’ NFL team says
THE Philadelphia Eagles are taking action after a “counterfeit” political ad supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election made the rounds on social media Monday.
The Eagles released a statement denying that the animated poster showing Harris Inside an Eagles helmet was an official team advertisement, adding that the organization was working to have them removed.

“We are aware that counterfeit political ads are circulating and are working with our advertising partner to have them removed,” the statement posted on social media read.
Images of the fictional poster, which was allegedly posted at a bus stop in Philadelphia, read “Kamala, Official Philadelphia Eagles Candidate.”

The poster also included a link to the Eagles’ website where voting information could be found. But the information available on the website Monday afternoon appeared to have been last updated before the Pennsylvania vote and New Jersey primaries.
According to CBS News, The poster is the latest creation by street artist Winston Tseng.

In a 2023 interview with Street Art News, Tseng said he likes to “use brands and advertising to communicate social issues, hoping to bring unexpected attention to them in our daily lives.”
